SAXON

SAXON are touring on their brand-new 2018 release, Thunderbolt, featuring the single “They Played Rock and Roll” dedicated to Motörhead and the iconic frontman Lemmy. Along with 11 other new tracks, Thunderbolt keeps up the band’s tradition of hard-rocking, quintessentially British heavy metal.

Leaders of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, beginning in the late ’70s and early ’80s, Saxon has never stopped producing its brand of authentic rock and roll. After 40 years of pumping out some of the hardest rock on either side of the Atlantic, the band soldiers into the 21st century with the same passion and drive that allowed them to weather the changing tastes of audiences throughout the years, all while still appealing to their die-hard fans.
