The blackjack portion of Triple 7s will be identical to classic blackjack. Your goal is to make a hand more valuable than the dealer’s. For example, if you knew the dealer was going to show up with an 18, you’d want your hand to be valued at 19 or more. Of course, the dealer can also bust (exceed 21 points), which means that it doesn’t matter what hand you end up with, so long as you don’t bust first.
The value of each card is represented by the number on the card. An 8 is worth 8 points, 5 worth 5 points, 4 worth 4 points, etc. Simple. Aces are worth 1 or 11 points, depending on the hand you have. For example, an ace and 8 can be a (soft) 9 or 19. An ace and 4 is a (soft) 5 or 15. All aces are known as ‘soft’ hands. Face cards (jacks, queens, kings) are worth 10 points.
That’s the general idea. The game will start with you placing your wager and being dealt your cards. Each player will receive two cards. The dealer will, too, with one being dealt face up and the other dealt face down.
